Other than some minor tweaks here and there - can’t say we see a big difference between the 2008 and 2009 Yamaha R1.1 extra mm of bore, .05 gallons larger gas tank, and they shaved a whole .1 inch off the seat height.  You’ll see some minor body work changes on the new R1.  New exhaust look- slightly better performance over last years model.  Another great liter bike from Yamaha.

Can Yamaha bring back the two stroke motorcycle?  The new “sportbike” is supposed to be fairly light weight (around 320 lbs) and produce about 75 horsepower to the back wheel.  Power to weight ratio will make this bike run with the 600 series sportbikes.

Wow, lot’s of improvement on the 2009 Kawasaki ZX-6R.  Modified cylinder bank angle, more power, switched to the ZX-10R swingarm, new front fork design using a 45mm tube for inner wall, shaved 22lbs off the overall bike weight, the whole lower right side is new.  Lot’s of great changes and this bike is now turning faster lap times at the track.
