Motorcycle insurance policyholders in the county and even further afield may be pleased to read that the centre has been developed in line with the new test and will cover tests from all over the north-west. The Lancashire Telegraph reports that the keys to the £2 million facility were handed over from the construction team to Pendle Bracken - contractors acting on behalf of the Driving Standards Agency. Changes brought in to the test include the need for off-road testing, with the centre replacing others that have had to close because they lack the outdoor space, such as the test centre in Preston New Road.
